Good morning Las Vegas!  I woke up in the dark, and the sun must have risen at some point but I missed it because my back is towards the open window.  This reminds me of when my job put us in a temporary office that had a gorgeous view of NYC and amazing sunsets and we never saw them because we never had time to turn our heads to the right (or left, depending on where you sat.)

I went out to smoke and get coffee.  I was too late for Dunkin Donuts so I went to Lapperts.  They now have some actual food beyond donuts.  I didn’t get any because I didn’t have enough comps.  I am thinking of all the times I barely scratched the surface on my resort credit with offers.  Can I have all that credit back in one lump sum?  No?  FINE.

I got an early morning quad, which was nice.

Work, work, work and work.  I was happy to have some cheese boxes that I got from Starbucks yesterday to exhaust my Rio resort credit.  Opened one and yikes it smells so rancid.  Expiration date is yesterday, it smells like it expired last year.  I am going to eat it anyway.

I kind of want to stay in tonight because I am exhausted.  But I also want to win a million dollars.  Decisions…..

Side note: I bought myself a pair of NYC themed pajamas with The Rockettes on them, they are adoarable.  I took my all black pajamas out of my luggage to add these in.  And now I realize my mistake because going to smoke = I have to change every time since I wear pajamas while working.   First world problem.

Me: Why don’t you post an Amazon affiliate link to your Rockettes pajamas?
Me: I didn’t buy them on Amazon
Me: No one cares, post it anyway
Me: Looks like Amazon doesn’t have the ones I got.

BUT.

They do have THESE which I must now order for myself since I am now a show addict.

Also I got my hotel bill from Rio and they did not charge me the tax that was showing on my room folio on the television.  So I could have spent about $10 more on rotten Starbucks snack boxes.

I went and did some gambling and ran an errand after work.  I lost at Binions, but that’s fair since Cleopatra Keno was so nice to me yesterday.

Fremont Christmas tree:

Came back to the room with Dunkin Donuts coffee to keep in my refrigerator tonight so I have delicious iced coffee tomorrow.

Walked over to Main Street Station, past these wreaths:
Main Street Station moved all the machines that I love.  I found one of them, Ultimate X, but my budget is too small for it so I played quarter Double Double Bonus video poker and she took pity on me and gave me UX money.

UX was not as kind as quarter Double Double bonus.

After playing, I went to Saginaws at Circa to get a sandwich to go.  I did not play here.  I am surprised that I am on day 8 in Las Vegas and with the exception of full day #1, I have been sticking to my tiny budget.  I think it is because my budget is low for me, so I want to keep all my money so I can go all out on my last few days.

I also think I don’t really need to play to keep offers since I am not Gold at MGM and will not pay resort fees.  Although my current offers have the fee waived, I cannot guarantee that.  So if I play to generate offers, and those offers have resort fees, then they are wasted on me because resort fees, fuck you.

At some point last year, knowing I was not planning to be here this year, I wasted hundreds of dollars of Binions/Four Queens comps by shopping at the Binions gift shop for overpriced snacks and drinks.  I somehow still have over $200 so I will be eating at the steakhouse at Binions later this trip.

And that’s a wrap!  Here is my itinerary for today. I redeemed some of the freeplay before today.
