Well it is a morning, Las Vegas. Not sure how good it is.
Woke up for work with Dunkin Donuts coffee waiting in my room refrigerator for me. I had decided in advance to not gamble before work is over. So I gambled before work is over. And every time, had those sessions that suck – where the credits go straight to zero without any wins at all. That is not fun at all.
Here is a win I did not post yesterday though:
I forgot I had dining credit here at Fremont, that I do not need but could have used last week (was that last week?) when I was at California. So I got breakfast at the Fremont food court. They have really good iced coffee and Dunkin Donuts does not let you use comps. It just sucks because I want to mobile order my coffee and not wait. I don’t want to pay when I have comps. My backpack is so heavy from me being a cheap fuck who wants to use every penny of her resort credit so goes food shopping at Starbucks for Kind bars.
Oh that reminds me I need to clear out my One Club comps today and get some more crap. Good thing my kitchen is being renovated and now I have food to put in the new cabinets I guess?
After work, I killed time by typing out a list of all Broadway / Off Broadway / Off Off Broadway shows I went to in 2024. I’ll post that when I get home.
I also shopped online and got a new pair of Flamingo pajamas. I have a million pairs of Flamingo pajamas, but THESE ONES are Christmas themed!!! As always, I am an Amazon affiliate and if you buy anything via my link, I get some pennies as commission at no cost to you. Flamingo is capitalized because my Vegas fingers thing I am talking about the hotel.
When I was done with internetting, I went over to Binions. I have a reservation at the steakhouse tonight to use the Las Vegas Advisor 25% off coupon and also some of my comps. I played around here for a bit and won a tiny bit on a slot machine with dragons. I am too tired to remember the name.
Dinner was great. They were out of iced tea, well not out of, just didn’t have any because the machine was broken. Whatever that means. I thought the poor server was going to have a meltodwn about this, he cared SO MUCH that I could not have iced tea. Even offerering to go down to the cafe and get some for me. No no no, it is fine.
After dinner, I went to Circa for some coffee. Always a good idea to do this after my bedtime. Then over to California to play. YAY.
Then back to Binions where Cleo was nice to me!
Back to Fremont, ready to say goodbye to this place forever? I have had some huge wins here in my life. I have also had too many “play straight to zero” days here. I love this place, it has always been my favorite. But I may be ready to abandon it and become a “California only” hotel kind of gal.
One time when I was going to smoke, there was a woman in the elevator talking about how much she loves Fremont. She stays here every time. Me too. I even remember one time when I was not staying here, where I lovingly pet the elevator when walking past and told her I’d be staying soon!
One more night of sleep here. Since I am posting the day after, I’ll get all the Fremont stuff out now – including room photos as I am vacating the room so if some weird creepy does know my room number, I won’t be here anymore. I have never had this extra space in a Fremont room before. I like it.
Of course, it comes with the price of the Fremont Street Experience being inside your room.
I don’t know if I fell out of bed last night or if I just dreamed it.
And that’s it!
