Today is a Monday in Las Vegas. I wake up at Ballys. It is freezing outside. Like a freak cold day, freezing, windy, so cold.
I am up at 4:00 am. I have to be “at” work in my room at Ballys at 6:00 am.
I went down to get coffee from the insanely overpriced coffee kiosk in the lobby. At least it was open, it could have been worse.
I lost $100 on my coffee run and then went back up to make my paycheck.
Once I was done I wanted to go degenerate. But reminded myself that I was only allowed to spend $100 today, as that is the rule I made when I allowed myself to work from Vegas. So of course I went and lost another $200, making today’s losses $300, before grabbing Sbarro and going back to the room and then to bed.
Day four was also a very short day so let me just keep going here.
I woke up at 4:00 am today. Lost $100 while getting coffee, I see a pattern here. Luckily today is my last day at work and tomorrow begins vacation.
I have a very bad earache, I cannot even close my mouth the entire way I am in so much pain.
My original plans for tonight were:
1. Eat dinner
2. Watch “This is Us” season premier in my pajamas
3. Go Downtown for the opening of Circa
Instead I:
1. Went to CVS Minute Clinic for my ear
2. Got drugs
3. Watched “This is Us” in my pajamas
4. Saw the news immediately after, showing the insane crowds waiting for Circa to open
5. Said “fuck that” and went to sleep
Tomorrow will be more interesting for sure. You can read about it here
