I am awake at Fremont hotel at 10:30 AM. I had originally considered going to an MLife property as I am checked into Excalibur and have about $90 resort credit left on my offer. But I instead went around doing the same thing I always do, just gamble. I honestly have no idea why people like reading these things sometimes, I feel like I am the most boring person on Earth.
I tried a new to me Cleopatra Keno / video poker combo machine, since my baby is always dead. I lose $80 and then got dealt 7s. Nice.
I went over to Golden Gate to play some Texas Tea. I turned $60 into $80, no photo.
Played some Cleopatra Keno and video poker, $100 down to $80.
Trying my luck at Plaza. Lose, lose, lose, lose, lose.
Over to Circa for Saginaws to go. I lost 60 in between placing my order and then picking up my order.
Nap time!
I don’t wake up until 9:00 PM. I am still exhausted but stop me if you have heard this before: I have to get out of bed and go down to get Dunkin Donuts before it closes…
I play a game I think is named Da Ji Da Li. My handwriting is atrocious.
I played Cleopatra Keno next. This is a problem. My machine is located near the bar. There are more people than there are seats at the bar so they all spill out to the machines and plop down in front of machines and treat the aisle as a bar. This is regular on weekends. I always wonder about these people. Does the bar at Fremont have massive drink specials that make this worth it to them? How much fun are you truly having if you are sitting in a casino, at a slot machine, and simply drinking and not playing? This is Fremont, not like a fancy casino. What dd you do on vacation? Oh I sat at a machine at Fremont and drank.
Tonight though, there are even more people in one group than there are machines. So I am trapped inside a gaggle of loud, drunken talkers, who keep bumping into my seat. GUYS. This machine is MY machine. She is always broken. But she is actually working tonight. Could you just please NOT?
Then one of them moves a chair and leans against the actual machine. But when she puts her arm down, it goes between the machines and she almost hits my iced coffee. This is where I had to choose between murder or leaving, and I chose leaving.
I went outside on Fremont and saw the Jesus freak losers who are there often enough that I remember wishing them death before.
I went to Binions for dinner. Afterwards, I played some video poker.
Then Buffalo.
I played a LOT around Binions. I kept going back and forth between Cleopatra Keno and video poker. I’d lose a $20, win a $20. I was never really up, never really down. Hours and hours.
Finally I get up and go over to Fremont. I have $90 free play from a NYE offer that popped up in my account after booking my stay here. I didn’t want to book the offer since I wasn’t sure I could get Fremont comped, and my booked comp that I booked monthsssssss ago covers NYE. But the free play was on my card anyway so let’s go!
Dancing Drums! I will often do one spin at $10 to start, just for the hell of it. I won $65 and attemped to cash out and ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME.
I waited for the attendant and then played again. I left with $185 from my free play.
Moved to one last round of video poker for the night and hit 10s.
And with that, I am off to bed at 2:00 AM. Good night.
