It is day five in Las Vegas and I am awake at 7:30 AM at Circa.
My morning view. I love the morning view in Las Vegas. You look outside and know ANYTHING can happen today. I also find myself fantasizing about running away from life, maybe getting a drivers license and driving into those mountains in the background just to see where they lead.
I shower and get dressed and am ready to hit the town at 9:30. I really should do more hitting the town in Las Vegas, rather than just going back and forth between the same casinos all the time. But I won’t.
When I get to the casino, I stay away from my usual money stealing machines and try some Dragon Link Spring Festival. I doubled four $20 bills and lost the 5th.
Next I try Peacock Princess. I lose a $20 and then double a $20.
Buffalo Deluxe! I lose $80 and then lose $100. Why do I do this? Like seriously, why. When I type up these trip reports, I just get so mad at myself. I am fiiiiiiine with losing, fine with repeatedly losing on Buffalo. But why do I keep putting more money in when I am losing? Because of those sporadic big wins? Oh yeah, that is why. Because of those sporadic big wins. Sigh.
Breakfast is me grabbing McDonalds at Plaza.
Then, since I cannot smoke in my room, I smoke a cigarette at a Buffalo slot machine before taking a nap. Buffalo does not hate me during this session.
I take a nap and go back out at 5:00.
I love seeing Sassy Sally thriving at Circa. She was in storage for way too long. I dream of a day I see her reunited with Vegas Vic. They are so close!
Next stop is Plaza again. I’d like to get some room offers here so why not?
Walking through Plaza, I saw Slot Lady filming. If you don’t know who that is, she is a YouTuber who posts slot videos. I am surprisingly not that into watching slot videos, but on the rare times I get sucked into a fox hole of YouTube slot videos, it is always hers.
I tried some Buffalo and won YAY!
I walked over to Golden Gate. I love this photo. Newest casino vs oldest casino. I do still miss Las Vegas Club though. Home of my very first comp offer. If I could bring back any three casinos, it would be my beloved Riviera, Westward Ho and Las Vegas Club.
I played some Double Double Bonus video poker at Golden Gate, starting with free play. It infuriated me that I got this “protocol error” on the same machine I have gotten it on before, AFTER I am winning. You are ruining my fun time.
Dinner is a burger from Victory Burger at Circa, using comps. I also got waffle fries, which is important. Why? Because by the time I was done with the fries, the burger wasn’t hot. And it tasted as if it would be THE MOST DELICIOUS BURGER EVER if it were hot. So I have now (at time of typing this, not at time of living this) been to Victory Burger quite a few times to chase that burger. And I have yet to have a second one as good as the first one. Oh well.
I am in bed at 1:30 which kind of sucks because I have to work tomorrow at 6:00 AM Vegas time, and this is the latest I have been out so far this trip. Sigh.
