Las Vegas Christmas trip starts at 6:30 when I wake up at 6:30 for no reason at all. I can barely make it to work ten feet from my bed by 9:00. Vegas? Can’t even sleep until 9:00 am.
I am out at 8:15. Breakfast again is at Market Street Cafe, paid with comps.
I go back to my room to grab the Dunkin Donuts coffee I smartly brought back last night and left in my refrigerator, to stop me from having to walk to go get iced coffee. OF FUCKING COURSE the refrigerator setting is too cold so it is kind of like a coffee smoothie. I tried using the hair dryer to melt it. It kind of not really worked. Damn me and my fucking ideas.
Over to Binions I go for some Wonder Four Buffalo.
$100 – $167, cashed out at $160
$100- $238, cashed out $200
Miss Kitty – I hate this game but the jackpot was high so I gave it a whirl.
I then tried a $100 bill with all four games being Miss Kitty, to try and get the jackpot. But I did not and just lost $100.
Tried some video poker.
Binions has a promotion where if you get 100 points, you get $10 dining and for 300 points, you get $30 free play. I am 26 points away from 300 so I go again on Buffalo.
Wow.
Head back to California and lose $60 in quarter Double Double Bonus video poker. And then another $60 in Buffalo.
I swiped my card at a kiosk to see if there were any promotions and I got $10 in dining. Wahoo!
I decide to play dollar video poker, even though I am not allowed to. There is something about this casino that makes me do it. I lost $300. DAMMIT.
I go to my room at 12:15 and take a nap.
I am back up at 4:30. Out at 5:45. I stop and get a Binions burger, using an app reward. Binions no longer gives rewards on their app, but it was great while it lasted. I got a lot of free stuff, and my comp balance kept growing since I never used it.
I lose $100 on a Treasure Ball slot machine after eating. I hate / love this machine. I have had some decent wins on it in Atlantic City so I keep trying at Binions, and it has never worked out.
I walked over to Downtown Grand where I have $25 free play from an offer. My offers here are wonky. I always have free play, and I got an email for comped nights on New Year’s Eve. But they never send me regular comp nights. Oh well.
I lost the free play and then lost a $20 and then hit 5s and cashed out at $60.
I moved machines (why) and lost $80 going back and forth between Double Double Bonus and Cleopatra Keno.
Over to The D…I lost $80 between Cleopatra Keno and Double Double Bonus. MY machine here, that gave me Aces with a Kicker twice on one trip – both times holding only one Ace – is shut off for Covid.
Lost some more money at Binions on the way back to California. Not sure how much because all my notes have are “Binions” and a huge $0 next to it, underlined for emphasis.
Back in my room and asleep at midnight.
