Las Vegas Trip Report: Going to Jerry’s Nugget

Day five Las Vegas trip report begins at Fremont.  I love this hotel so much.  I love it so much, I love it so much, I love it so much.

First stop is Dunkin Donuts where there is a penny on heads on the floor.  YAY.  I pick it up and put it in my bra.

I allow myself $360 for the day.  I am not too sure I understand daily budgets any longer.  I think my daily budget has officially gone from $200 to $400, without ever taking a stop at $300.

I played Buffalo Cash Express Luxury Line.  I played this on my last trip at Klondike in Henderson.  It was nicer to me today.
I ate breakfast at Paradise Cafe only because I have dining credit here.  The line wasn’t too bad, but the people on it sure were.  No one wants to stand 6 feet apart any longer.  I find myself constantly doing that trick where when I see someone coming up from behind me, I glue my eyes to the spot on the floor that tells you where to stand and then lifting my head to dirty look the person approaching as they are about the cross it.   99% of the time, this works to make them stop at the marked spot.

Waiting for the check took longer than the line to get in.   This always infuriates me.

I play around Fremont a bit after eating, mostly on quarter Double Double Bonus.  Did not get any photo worthy wins, but did get to play for awhile.

Went to the room to drop off some cash and then got an Uber to Jerry’s Nugget.  I have an offer for dining and free play.  I also have free play coupons from both American Casino Guide (2020 version, that they are allowing you to use again in 2021) and Las Vegas Advisor.

I lose all the free play on Buffalo Deluxe.  Then put real cash in Wonder Four.  WONDERFUL.
I play around a bit and I cannot lose.

I ended up playing old school Lobstermania forever.  This was my mother’s favorite game.   I was on this machine for well over an hour.

Finally it was time to cross the coffee shop off my itinerary.   Rumor has it this place is great and rumor was not mistake.  It was really good.  I had comps here so I got desert to go.  They did not give me a fork.

Waiting for an Uber outside.  You could never tell from the outside what is on the inside.

I came back to the room with $660.   Of course, no idea what I left here with.

I actually stopped at the Fremont gift shop for a bottle of Starbucks iced coffee and a Diet Pepsi.  This probably cost me a million dollars.  I paid with points.

Went to the room to rest and then went back out at 9:00 PM with $200.  Hoo boy was this a bad night.  I just kept losing and losing and losing.   For reasons I surely do not know, I got some more cash from the room and walked across the street to Four Queens.  And played dollar Double Double Bonus video poker, which is absolutely not in my budget.  The gambling gods took pity on me.

Last thing I wrote in my notes before going to sleep was “I need this trip to get better.”
