[This is part two of a nineteen night trip report. If you want to start at the beginning, go here.]
Can’t sleep. Up at 6:30 am at Gold Coast. Out to gamble! I play triple line nickel Double Double Bonus video poker: $20-$0.
New wheel video poker, playing nickels: $20-$30 via four of a kind nines. Have you ever taken acid? Well my blurry photo of those nines, that comes complete with flash orbs, looks like your acid trip.
Old wheel video poker: $20-$0
Press Your Luck slot machine: $40-$30
Quarter Double Double Bonus video poker: $30-$0
Breakfast was at the Gold Coast buffet. Nothing special at all, but it is cheap and right here so it works for me.
I continue playing of course. Same machine, $20-$0
I have $315.
Back to the room at 8:30 to shower and to apply some lucky glitter to my cash.
I am really close to hitting Sapphire level at Boyd. I am going to go for it.
Today is “Pick a Gift Day” at the Gold Coast. I got a spice rack. Ooooh.
Out at 9:15.
Invaders From the Planet Moolah slot: $15-$0.
I head over to the Palms to use a point multiplier coupon. They are only taking the point multiplier coupons on Fridays. Today is Wednesday. Guh.
I play anyway. Quarter Double Double Bonus video poker.
$20 – $0
$20 to four of a kind Jacks – still cash out $0
This is not going very well.
Lost $40 or $60 or more? The Palms blows today. So do I for not stopping.
Back to the Gold Coast and lost some more money on a Zorro slot machine.
I have $105 left so I lost $210 total today. That’s just great. So unnecessary. Stupid Palms. Stupid me.
I stopped for a sandwich at the Gold Coast and went to my room to hide my shame from the general public.
I would have liked to have napped, but I could not sleep at all. I am back out at 4:30.
Quarter Double Double Bonus video poker: $40-$0
Maltese Fortune slot machine: $40-$0
Quarter Double Double Bonus video poker turns my $100 into $300, cash out $200.
Maltese Fortune slot machine: $20-$0
Invaders From the Planet Moolah slot machine: $5-$0
Quarter Double Double Bonus video poker $20-$40 followed by $20-$0
Then I went and lost the $40 win.
I borrow $100 from tomorrow.
Time machine slot machine: $100-$111, cash out at $90
Double Double Bonus video poker
$20-$70, hitting four of a kind nines
I have $75 left for tomorrow.
I eat at the Gold Coast buffet for dinner. It’s free with 200 points via the American Casino Guide coupon. At least I got something for my losses! It doesn’t look like I’m getting my drink order taken ever.
After eating, I go full degenerate on dollar Double Double Bonus video poker. I hit Jacks, ran it up to $350 and cashed out at ZERO!
I am now super close to hitting Sapphire but I have to take a break to go and watch Survivor.
I allow myself to go back out with $100 to try for Sapphire, leaving me short $300 for the future.
What a night. I start to play dollar Double Double Bonus video poker.
$100-$300 by hitting four of a kind eights.
$100 in, hit four of a kind sevens: Get up to $350, cash out.
I made Sapphire and I am winning so I keep playing.
i hit Jacks again, $100-$250.
Played all over. I love dollar video poker. This is such a rare treat since it is not in my budget. I am normally good with resisting the urge to play it. Tonight, not so much.
I now have a full budget and an extra $100.
Today was a very brutal, very volatile day with money and I’m glad it’s all okay now. I wanted to make Sapphire at Boyd but it could have ruined my trip.
