Las Vegas: New Year’s Day 2022

If you have somehow landed on this page and would like to read this Las Vegas trip report from the beginning, you can go HERE.

Happy 2021!  I wake up at Fremont this morning, raring to start the new year with a bazillion dollars.

Morning view from my bed:
I played $100 each at Fremont, Four Queens, The D and Binions.  Guess how much I won?  NOTHING.

I am going home tomorrow so I have that end of the trip degeneracy coming on.  I hate this.   I never want to spend a last night in the room, but what happens when you cannot win?  Maybe I should book shows or a spa treatment on the night before I go home.  Great idea, let’s get on this.  But not today.  Because I already woke up raring to gamble so let’s GO!

Took a Dunkin Donuts break and went back at it.  Hit a major!
And continued playing.
Played around some more and Cleopatra Keno hates me in every casino I try her in.

I played some Dancing Drums.  The woman next to me was playing $10/hand and yapping away with her friend, continuing to pour $100 bill after $100 bill after $100 bill into her machine.  It was making me very anxious for her.

I got a bonus though.

Time for some video poker…..

Not too shabby.

Then I went on a massive losing streak where nothing would connect, I couldn’t even play without straight losing.

As much as I hated everything about this, I was in my room by 9:00 PM to pack, and go to sleeeeep.  I somehow still had $200 on me despite the massive losses so I went back out to play that because why not?

Well I will tell you why not, because I lost it.  But I did get to play for awhile at Ultimate X. Never hit anything photo worthy, but I got to actually play. That was nice.

Then bed, good night. I fly home tomorrow.
