Las Vegas Trip Report: Last Day

WHY LAS VEGAS, WHY?   I don’t want to go home.  Today or ever.

I am up at 6:00 and out at 6:40.  I lost $100 on dollar Double Double Bonus video poker because that’s my thing now.

Over to Binions for breakfast, then to Fremont for iced coffee and Ultimate X video poker.
Played Cleopatra Keno and turned $20 into $80.  Said fuck it and tried $.50 video poker and got nothing.

Walk back to California and realized I didn’t cash out my TITO.  Sigh, back to Fremont…did I mention it is freezing outside today?

Back at California again, last chance for dollar video poker.  Last chance to lose more money.

I finished up with losing $100 on Buffalo and then it was time to go.

I really half assed the last few posts here in order to get this out before I leave again. I am having issues with uploading photos to my blog and it makes me want to scream.  I am going to have to pay someone to troubleshoot it for me because I just cannot anymore.

My next trip is 19 days.  I am working 3 of those.  I am staying at:

California
Circa
The D(ick)
Sam’s Town
Flamingo
Bellagio
Cosmopolitan

And then a second stay at either Flamingo or California, both are booked.  I will decide later which one I am actually staying at.

If you made it this far, thank you!

I love reading this! Now I can understand why you wait until your trip is over to write it. It’s like reading a chapter novel. A chapter for each day of your trip. Thanks for sharing your adventure and awesome job with your winnings! Have fun on your upcoming trip. I still might go this weekend but might now consider Atlantic City since I found out Borgata is part of Mylife and I only need 2,000 points to reach the next level.

Thanks David! I haven’t been keeping up on Atlantic City restrictions. Are they letting people drink on the casino floor now?

If you do go, I’d like to know how crowded it is.

Just finished up your report. Thanks for posting it all. Sometimes it makes me actually want to go back. I think I’ll wait til 2022. Meanwhile, I can read your fun reports. Stay safe and enjoy the holidays!

I was able to read all installments of your report in one sitting, which shows you how busy it is at my job on Christmas Eve (don’t tell my boss). As such, I just saved my comments for the last entry. It really was worth the 8473652 email notifications to experience this trip.

As always, it was a fun ride with you. Yeah, a few bumps along the way, but you got through it all while having a blast. The Giuliani face mask line was classic. As much as you have given us, I do have to ask you for one big favor. Do you think you could draw a map showing the location of that Buffalo machine at the Linq? If I had that, I would leave tomorrow for Vegas.

Once again, thanks for another fun report. All the best to you, and of course, have a great time on the next trip.

I sent out that warning email as a warning and didn’t lose any followers, which was surprising. Then I posted the trip report and lost three. I do not blame them.

I cannot wait to see if that Buffalo machine is still paying. I will post her location once I am done with her on this trip! I have the machine number too, in case they move her.

Today is day 2 of 19 for me. I love not having any idea how this entire trip is going to go!

Looking forward to your next trip report. I am really curious about Sams Town. They are supposed to have really good play, but I haven’t been there in a while.
    Cheers

I haven’t given them any significant play. I usually drop by to get the $10 free play and free buffet from LVA / ACG. I did stay there once a million years ago, but that was a million years ago. So I am not all that familiar with the casino so it will be new to me as well.

    Hi Jennifer,
Great trip report as usual! Makes me miss Vegas so much, having not gone this year. As for your Casino Royale, no comps for rooms as you said. Well, I had a shock, about a year or two ago when a friendly slot attendant said if you have your players card checked, there are comp dollars earned for the dining establishment there: food court, White Castle, Denny’s, outback. I had 500 dollars in comps!!!! Guess it was all the play on Wizard of Oz and Britney!
    Have a great next trip!

Excellent trip report as usual, Jennifer. I live vicariously through your reports. I have not been back to Vegas since April (no masks mandated at that time, Covid was just reaching there) when my niece got married.

I am jealous that you get to go back so soon, and I will be sitting here waiting for your next trip report. I have been sad with the lack of Flusher’s reports – poor guy is stuck in Canada, I guess.

Royal Flusher is indeed stuck in Canada. I am rubbing this trip in his face. Okay not on purpose, but ya know. 🙂
